This Place In Time: Integrated Earth Space Science

with Ned Swanberg, MST, New Hampshire Audubon Upper Valley Program Director, and guest presenters

Session II

Participants will be introduced to Geographic Information Systems, and work with guest presenters on soils, geology, climate, and space to support an integrated study of a single site over cosmological and geological time. This week uses an inquiry process to support instruction on Earth Space Science.

The Earth Space event is primarily targeted to middle and secondary public school educators and will be especially useful for NH, VT, and RI educators who share the upcoming Science NECAP. This standardized test focuses on students' ability to collect and analyze real scientific data.
