2006 E.E. Just “Outstanding Environmental Club” Awards

The E.E. Just Environmental Leadership Institute at Kimball Union Academy would like to recognize schools with excellent environmental clubs in middle and high schools. Outstanding environmental clubs are invited to nominate themselves for this competitive award, which seeks to honor creativity, consistent hard work, and the desire to implement change within their school and throughout their community.

The E.E. Just Environmental Leadership Institute is a three-week summer program tackling real-life environmental problems, leadership, global citizenry, and service learning. Winners will be awarded a full 3-week scholarship for five of its members to the Environmental Leadership Institute, running from July 9-28. The teacher/advisor of the winning program will also be invited to attend one of the E.E. Just week-long professional development programs in environmental education.
